Mathys Tel Keeps Manchester United Door Open Despite Tottenham Loan Move
Bayern Munich winger Mathys Tel made a surprise deadline-day move to Tottenham Hotspur on loan, despite previously being linked with Manchester United and Chelsea. However, reports suggest that Tel is still interested in a future move to Old Trafford once his Spurs loan spell ends.

United initially pursued the 19-year-old but pulled out of negotiations as Bayern insisted on a loan deal without a permanent transfer option. Meanwhile, Tottenham secured Tel with an option to buy for around £50 million, and manager Ange Postecoglou has hinted at keeping him beyond this season.
Despite this, reports have emerged that Tel remains open to a potential summer transfer to Manchester United, especially as the club looks to reinforce its attacking options. If United secures funding from potential player sales, such as Marcus Rashford and Antony, a move for Tel could be revisited.
Tel has also not ruled out a return to Bayern Munich, provided he is given a clear pathway to regular first-team football. As the summer transfer window approaches, his future remains one to watch.
